History

The Audio Visual & Information Technology Ministry (AVIT) began in April 1991. The founding members are Deacon James Turner Sr., James Turner Jr., Timothy Harris, Manston T. Singleton, Oliver Carter, Michael Johnson and William Banks.

The AVIT Ministry evolved from the Audio Tape Ministry in the fall of 2010.  Because of their ability to make recordings available to the congregation for a nominal fee, many members are able to enjoy worship services over and over again.  Administrative computing and networking are also a part of this ministry as well as CCTV systems and portable audio systems.
